The 2016 Parade of Homes is a four-day celebration that gives guests an intimate view inside some of the best homes Southeast Idaho has to offer. This year’s Parade of Homes features 14 home designs from several of the Northwest’s elite home builders. To help you prepare for the Parade of Homes, here are three tips to ensure your have a great experience:

For the 2015 Parade of Homes, all guests ages two and up will be required to have a ticket to enter the homes. So, how can you purchase your tickets? There are two ways to purchase tickets for the Parade of Homes.

Option 1: At the homes

Option 2: At specific sponsors

Tickets for the event can be purchased at each home for $10 per person, or they can be purchased at the following sponsored locations:

Plan a Parade Route

The 13 homes featured in this year’s Parade of homes are spread across four cities: Ammon (3), Idaho Falls (10) and Rexburg (1). In order to make the most of your time, while enjoying each home, it is important to plan your day to be as efficient as possible.

Follow the parade etiquette

Each home along the Parade of Homes route is carefully prepared to allow each visitor to have a high-quality experience. In order to maintain the environment for each visitor, the Parade of Homes asks each visitor to follow certain etiquette guidelines, including:

  1. Before entering each home, take off your shoes and use the booties provided.

  2. Exit each home through the garage, leave the booties for the next guest.

  3. Bathroom facilities are not available in the homes.

  4. Please do not walk on the landscaping.

  5. No food or drink in the homes.

  6. No video cameras or cameras.
